The "Penny" Hook is one of my favorite things. It is a perfect mixture of simple and elegant. One piece of steel, a little heat and hammer, and classic proportions make this a timeless design. It looks as good holding towels in a modern bath as it does holding a bridle in a timber-frame barn.

Why is it called a penny hook? I like to think it is for the penny-sized tab at the top. Sadly, it's definitely _not_ the price.
